to master the wind and feel the breeze in your hair as you and your
buddy cruise around the lake in one of our many sail boats!
Who can participate?
Anyone who is at the swimmer level and has completed the small boat
sailing demo.
When can I participate?
Open Boating is available during the Afternoon (Depending on
availability in the Small Boat Sailing Merit Badge) and Evening Open
Program Times. If you really want to spend some time cruising on the
lake sign up for the Small Boat Sailing Merit Badge during the
afternoon E Block!
How can I participate?
To be eligible to go sailing all you have to do is pass the
swimmer's test and attend the Small Boat Demo on Sunday afternoon. You
can also sign up for Small Boat Sailing Merit Badge during the
afternoon E Block. Head to SCMS or talk to your Scoutmaster to sign up!
