Internet is available at the Welcome Center
We understand that many adults may need to touch base with home, work, and family during their week.  The Welcome Center is open for leaders to check email, send photos home, or to check in with work. Open 8 AM until 10 PM every night except Sunday, where we are only open until 8 PM for campfire.
Scoutmaster Recognition Dinner
As a symbol of our thanks, we invite all of the Scoutmasters to a special dinner to review summer highlights and talk about ideas for the future.
Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills (IOLS)
Leaders have the opportunity to go through IOLS throughout the week at camp. IOLS is a training course designed to impart basic Scouting knowledge and skills to new troop leader in order to allow them to be better instructors and leaders. The course is open to all leaders at Tomahawk, but the training will be held in Chippewa Camp. The program meets in the Chippewa Dining Hall 2:00pm-5:15pm Sunday-Thursday. The final test will be at 9:30am on Friday. Participants from White Pine may drive and park by the dining hall. Carpooling is recommended to reduce the number of vehicles driving through camp. Ask your commissioner about this opportunity.
BSA Aquatics Supervision
The Swimming & Water Rescue and Paddle Craft Safety are two certifications that enable unit leaders to safely run aquatic outings for their troops. This opportunity includes guarding skills.
