Day-Long High Adventure Experiences


The Tomahawk High Adventure Base offers exciting day-long opportunities for Scouts to participate in, both at Tomahawk and at nearby locations. Scouts must be at least 13 years old to participate.
  • Learn the basics of whitewater kayaking on the Brule River, one of the Midwest’s most popular whitewater spots for all skill levels.
  • Looking for more vertical adventures? Climb the Mega-Tower (photo), sixty feet of fun and challenge.
  • Mountain bike on Tomahawk’s extensive mountain biking trail system, which weaves throughout the pristine forests of the Reservation.
  • Participate in C.O.P.E. at Tomahawk, a program that incorporates team building, problem solving, and leadership building. The morning program involves team games and low course elements on the ground. The afternoon is spent on the state of the art 40’ high ropes course which includes a 600’ zip-line.

Mega-Tower



Have you ever climbed a 60 foot climbing tower? You can now, on the Tomahawk Mega-Tower, complete with overhangs, a free repel, and chimneys inside the tower. Every side of the tower offers its own extreme challenges.
