Chippewa Camp
Chippewa is the oldest and largest of the four sub-camps. The most significant difference between Chippewa and the other sub-camps is the large-capacity dining hall, in which all campers and staff unite to eat their meals.
- Chippewa troops love the Dining Hall, where each meal is followed by a song or other fun dining hall program.
- On Wednesday, troops cook breakfast and dinner in their campsites, but for lunch all of Chippewa unites in Scoutcraft for Cheeseburgers in Paradise.
- Troops are provided with canvas tents and cots, which they set up themselves on the Saturday they arrive, and take down the following Saturday.
- Chippewa appeals to troops looking for a large-camp experience, surrounded by lots of activities and excitement.
- Check out Lake Nielsen, a lake entirely within Chippewa, which is a popular spot for fishing and rowing throughout the week at Chippewa.
