Sioux Camp


Sioux Camp is situated next to Chippewa Camp, with fifteen campsites located within the southernmost point of the Tomahawk peninsula.
  • Sioux offers the most independent program of the sub-camps; troops eat their meals in their campsites which has been prepared at the Tomahawk Central Kitchen.
  • On Wednesdays, troops are provided with breakfast and dinner ingredients, which they cook themselves. Wednesday lunch is Cheeseburgers in Paradise, which is prepared by the staff in the Sioux parade field.
  • Sioux camp offers 32 merit badges and has an excellent waterfront area complete with excellent sailboats and a diving board on the swimming pier.
  • Troops are provided with canvas tents and cots, which they set up themselves on the Saturday they arrive, and take down the following Saturday.
