Venturing Program


Tomahawk Scout Reservation is pleased to offer 2 Venturing program sessions! The cost outlined below includes meals, tents, cots, equipment and transportation from camp to activities. The sessions are scheduled as follows:
  • July 3-9, 2010
    • Sample Schedule
      • Saturday – Check in, set up camp, swim tests
      • Sunday – High ropes, COPE, Mega tower climbing
      • Monday – Rock climbing in Taylors Falls
      • Tuesday – Single track mountain biking and BMX
      • Wednesday – Whitewater kayaking in Brule
      • Thursday – Tomahawk peninsula circumnavigation, Iceberg & Raven’s Roost Outpost overnight
      • Friday – Shooting sports, open activities, depart for home by 11:00 a.m.

  • July 7-10, 2010
    • Sample Schedule
      • Wednesday – Check in, set up camp, swimming tests, Mega tower climbing
      • Thursday – Low and high COPE along with evening aquatics activities
      • Friday – Whitewater kayaking on Brule River
      • Saturday – Open activities (archery, climbing, and ecology), depart for home by 11:00 a.m.
