Get ready to tell that big story of your monster catch! Fishing is a
great way to connect with nature, relieve some stress, learn how our
ancestors used to acquire food, and more! It's a life long hobby and a
great skill to have.
Who can fish?
Anyone can catch a giant fish, telling the big story however, will
take some practice.
When can I fish?
Whenever you have time! You can cast from a dock in your campsite
during your free time. The Marina in Chippewa Sub Camp is open in the
afternoon and evening during open program time. You can also fish by
taking the Fishing Merit Badge!
How do you do it?
Bring up your fishing gear and a fishing lisence (If you are over the
age of 16) and start casting! Equipement is also availble to check out from
the Beach Areas (Sioux and White Pine) and the Chippewa Marina.
