Brownsea is a first-year Scout program designed to teach outdoor skill requirements for early rank advancement in Scouting.
Scouts that have completed 7th grade and will be entering 8th grade in the fall have a whole new set of activities available to them ranging from STEM programs, to High Adventure like ATV riding, to trades-based programs like welding.

Tomahawk runs a winter camping program called Snow Base for 5th grade Scouts and up. It is designed to teach Scouts how to stay warm and have fun in the winter while camping. We provide all the gear and a staff guide for each group.
Are you looking for more summer camp? Are you unable to go to summer camp with your own troop or crew? Join the All-Star Troop at Tomahawk. With other Scouts from other troops you will a special troop for one week at camp.
Throughout the week at camp, we offer a number of trainings to enrich the rest of your Scouting experience!
Travel back in time to 1893 and experience Knapp Stout Logging Camp. Become a lumber jack and participate in programs like blacksmithing, candle making, spar pole climbing, tomahawk throwing, and shooting our lever action .22 rifle and double barrelled shotgun. Also be sure to pick up some root beer while your there.
Segments are special recognition patches that award your participate or accomplishment in programs throughout Tomahawk. They are designed to circle around your annual Tomahawk participant patch.
Family Island is a place for families to stay while their troop or crew attend Tomahawk. Stay in cabins with full bath, kitchenette and bunk room. RV camper sites are also available.
