Phillippo Fire Tower

Originally built in 1952 and dedicated at Tomahawk in 2002, the Phillippo Fire Tower provides another unique hiking destination for Tomahawk's Scouts and leaders.
  • Standing 100' tall and 180' over lake level, campers at the top will be able to see Tomahawk in its entirety along with much of the surrounding countryside.
  • The Phillippo Fire Tower also provides an interesting educational opportunity for Scouts as they learn about the history of the fire towers and fire prevention as well as the ecology and wildlife at different levels of the forest.
  • Check out the photos below, some taken from the incredible vantage point of the Phillippo Fire Tower.
